It's cosy season! We've curated a little round-up of our favourite knits to keep you both warm and stylish this Autumn/Winter. Read on for some inspiration...
A POP OF COLOUR
The days may be getting darker, but that's no reason to let your wardrobe do the same.
One brand you can always rely on for gorgeous pop of colour is American Vintage. This season, we're loving the
Foubay jumper in Mottled Tropico - a vibrant blue that will keep your look AND mood bright, even on the dreariest of days.
Nat wears a size small over the ivory
Lula top. We love the round neckline and bracelet sleeves showing off a little collar and cuff for a gorgeous layered look. Made from the cosiest alpaca blend, this little number will help keep the other kind of Winter blues at bay!
For something equally eye-catching but in a softer hue, opt for the Damsville sweater in our bestselling sugared almond colour.
This ultra soft and comfortable long-sleeved jumper is easy to wear all season long. Its sweatshirt-inspired design gives an effortless look as shown here by Nat, wearing an XS/S. Tuck her in, wear her slouchy and oversized, let her slip off one shoulder for a cheeky bit of skin.
However you choose to wear her, we have no doubt she'll be encouraging some compliments!
COSY CARDIS
Sticking with American Vintage but introducing a brand new colour for Rose The Store, the ever popular East cardigan now comes in this deep mottled cardinal. We love it with this floral maxi dress by Moliin but as all good cardigans should be, it's a super versatile piece to add to your wardrobe! Conjuring up the kind of warmth that the darker seasons bring - sipping red wine around a fire, cosy English pubs and candlelit nights on the sofa. Wrap yourself in this sultry little number and start getting excited for all the best bits of the next few months ahead.
Next up, we have OBJECT who have excelled themselves with their knitwear collection this season. Nat wears the chunky cropped
handknitted cardigan in a size small, styled with their thick
ribbed beanie hat. If you're into neutrals, then this look combines all those gorgeous earthy tones for you. The thick weaved knit gives an amazing textured look and will keep you extra cosy and warm as temperatures drop.
Wear it loose and open or make use of the statement tortoiseshell effect buttons. Either way, you'll be wanting to throw it on over every outfit!
NOT YOUR ORDINARY KNIT
Let's all take a moment for the sweater vest. Once limited to your grandad's wardrobe, we're pleased to say these sleeveless knits are back in a big way this Autumn/Winter. This
wavy knitted vest from Danish-based brand OBJECT is giving us all the Scandi cool girl vibes and you better get your mitts on one quick because they're flying out the door fast! Faye wears a size small over a plain white tee and some
Dr. Denim jeans for an everyday look, but you could also use it to dress down a silky skirt, such as the
Widland from American Vintage.
And last but not least, a knit that needs little styling - the jumper dress! We all love a dress for it's one piece easy to throw on nature and why should that be limited to the warmer months? Faye wears the
ribbed long dress from YAYA in a size small, paired with the American Vintage East beanie in pearl melange. The dress features long sleeves, a crewneck and a side slit that adds elegance to the look. Dress down with a pair of high-top trainers or dress up with a pair of Winter boots.
A jumper dress is comfortable, refined and an essential piece of knitwear not to be overlooked!
